We dispatch stock lines on the same day if ordered by 3pm. Non stock orders are 14 days delivery

Local pick up from our office. Free, just come to our office to pick up. You need to let us know you are coming
Courier deliveries are made on weekdays. Saturday deliveries can be arranged with an extra surcharge. If your order has been dispatched but not delivered please go to your local delivery office to collect. If the courier has attempted delivery you will need to action the calling-card and arrange a redelivery.
Delivery surcharges may apply to “Island & Highland” deliveries if the item is too large for us to use Royal Mail. We will always contact you in advance to confirm.
If there is any problem with your delivery, please let us know within 24 hours of receiving your order. Please allow some time before tracking. It is extremely rare, but as per Royal Mail stipulations, we are obliged to leave a window of 15 working days for UK deliveries before an item is deemed lost (or 25 working days for overseas deliveries).
No Deliveries to PO Boxes
Please note we are unable to post to PO Boxes. We need a physical address to dispatch to, as somebody may be required to sign for the parcel. If we place an order using a PO Box address, we will hold the order, and contact you for a physical home or work address.
Cancelling Weekend Orders
Please Note: Our Dispatch Warehouse continues to work over the weekend, but our Customer Service team do not. Therefore please ensure you are ordering the correct item, as we cannot always manage to stop the order once you have committed to it. You can of course return the order for a complete refund, should that happen, and we are only here to help, assist and make life easy!
Oversized International Shipments
Shipment to overseas outside of theewh UK is by request and prices will be supplied upon request. Some larger / heavier international shipments (like rucksacks or Tents for example) may attract slightly higher shipping fees, so if you are purchasing from abroad please email us in advance for a shipping quote.
In Stock or Available to Order
IN STOCK: Means exactly that – The product is in stock and ready to ship.
AVAILABLE TO ORDER: The item is available with our supplier and we will order it for you immediately. Most suppliers deliver very fast, but some are slightly slower, so please allow a little time for stock to arrive. If we discover any supply-issues we will email you with an approx due-date).
We hope you will be highly satisfied with any product purchased on our website, or face to face at shows or exhibitions.
If you have purchased online
If you wish to return an item to us then we aim to make it as quick and convenient as possible for you. If you have purchased online you can do this for any reason up to 14 days from the day you receive your goods, as long as the product is exactly as it was when we shipped it. No damage to the product, unopened, product-packaging in absolute perfect and resalable condition.

Online or Face to Face Purchases
You have a thirty day the right to reject goods that are:
Not of Satisfactory quality
Goods shouldn’t be faulty or damaged when you receive them. You should ask yourself what a reasonable person would consider satisfactory for the goods in question. For example, bargain-bucket products won’t be held to as high standards as top of the range goods.
Fit for purpose
The goods should be fit for the purpose they are supplied for.
The goods supplied must match any description given to you or any models or samples shown to you at the time of purchase.
After the first 30 days
If you’re outside the 30-day right to reject, you may return a faulty product and we will repair or replaced
A faulty product means the product has a fault, not that it has been used and it was damaged by wear and tear, an accident or misuse
To arrange a return, please email us so that we can email you returns instructions.
For ‘change of mind or right to reject’ or if you have found a fault, the sender is responsible for the return of the item. Please note, we do not take responsibility for items that we do not receive back. Please remember you have
If you are sending from overseas please only use the cheapest method to return items, using the Postal Service. If you cannot use the Postal Service, please contact us first. The cost of a return from overseas must be agreed in writing between the Sender and the Customer Services Dept, and we will only reimburse to the value of the least-cost method available.
Once we have received the returned item we will initiate the refund, minus our actual postage costs ( larger items may cost slightly more. Feel free to ask in advance of purchasing if you are unsure).
Please note that:
Certain items, need to go to the supplier first so they can inspect the item and decide whether it is a manufacturing fault or not. Likewise with sunglasses – Sunglasses and Goggles are manufactured in a white-glove environment and therefore cannot be scratched. We do not unzip or open the outer cases within our warehousing. Please do not return sunglasses or goggles that have possibly been scratched upon first use.
Orders via affiliate sites or via an affiliate link must be returned within 15 days, so we can void the commission payment to the affiliate. They, in turn, may void the commission payment to yourself. Orders returned outside of this timeframe will be refunded, less the affiliate commission value.
Socks, Underwear, Clearance Stock, Bulk-orders & Business-to-Business orders cannot be returned. Engraved items cannot be returned or exchanged due to their personalisation.
Damaged deliveries must be reported on the day of the delivery, to enable us to claim from our courier.
Online Product Videos
We display product videos online, and sometimes they display the Brand as a whole. For correct product information, please always refer to the listing specification (e.g. the photo’s and description text) when deciding which product to buy. If you need further clarification, please get in touch.
Payment & VAT
All prices are inclusive of UK VAT. We do not view or keep any card details and all information is encrypted for security purposes.
Business-to-Business orders are non-refundable once a Purchase Order has been submitted and payment cleared.
No Sale of Knives to Under 18’s
Any customer purchasing any bladed item from this website agrees they are over 18 years old. We do not sell to under 18’s.

Throughout the website we use stock images and descriptions provided by the manufacturer, or impressions (representations) of products or engraved items.
The manufacturer strives to ensure that the colours shown are as close to the real colours as possible. However, the exact colour or style may vary depending on a number of different factors, such as lighting and the quality of the photographs, your computer monitor and other factors beyond our control.

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge. The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK. Much of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health. Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.
Panther Interactive Marketing Ltd trading as Backpacker is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us.
For example, if a customer bought a new torch from us we would accept their old torch and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely. Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item. Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol, Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
Please note that Panther Interactive Marketing Ltd trading as Backpacker does not accept responsibility for any items damaged, lost or stolen through the use of products purchased from Panther Interactive Marketing Ltd trading as Backpacker. Although everything we sell are brand new products marketed some products such as waterproofs, can fail. We highly recommend testing all waterproof products before use so as not to risk water damage to expensive or valuable items. We are always happy to assist in warranty claims where possible.
